At Northplace, we believe each of us are called to make a difference. Our Dream Team exists to give you the opportunity to fulfill your purpose by using your God-given abilities to minister to others. The Dream Team serves in every area of the church and we would love for you to live the dream and be a part of the team.

Opportunities to Serve

Compassion

This team is involved in our compassion outreaches and mission trips to be an extension of Northplace Church by embracing the pain and need of others with grace and love.

Facilities

This team works diligently behind the scenes to maintain a spirit of excellence in every area of our church. They take care of maintenance items as well as set up and tear down for worship services and for special events.

Greeter

This friendly team loves people and makes them feel at home here at Northplace.  They welcome guests with a smile, encouragement and personal touch so that hearts are open to the Gospel message.

Groups Host

This team hosts Small Groups by serving others and giving each person a place to connect. Hosts will lead discussion over sermon based studies four times a year. Essential tools are provided to make each Small Group successful.

Grow Leader

This team serves others by helping them grow holistically in their walk with Christ. Leading a group is simple—choose a topic that interests you and select a time and location to meet with others to share it. We give you essential tools to make your Grow Group successful.

Growth Track

This team hosts our Growth Track sessions by welcoming guests as well as providing materials and assistance throughout each Growth Track.  They serve as Greeters, Table Hosts or in the Refreshment Area.

Guest Connect

This team is committed to welcoming and connecting our guests into the life of Northplace Church! They are ready to share a warm smile, offer an encouraging word, and make our guests feel special.

Hospitality

This team is committed to welcoming and connecting our guests into the life of Northplace Church! Through serving coffee, tea and donuts, they are ready to share a warm smile, offer an encouraging word, and make our guests feel special.

Media Team

This team uses creativity and technology to make the Gospel seen and heard by delivering the Word and worship through sound, lighting and other visual elements.

Northplace Kids Jr.

This team serves our 2-5 year olds.  They lead children into a relationship with Jesus through Bible stories, worship, prayer, hands-on activities, and personal interactions.

Northplace Kids Elementary

This team serves our students from grade R to 6.  They help create an environment that consistently exposes our students to the real love of Jesus.  They intentionally invest in the lives of our children through worship, videos, skits, small groups, games and more.

Prayer Team

This team believes in the power of prayer to change lives.  We partner with our loving Father to pray for those in need of His intervention.  Prayer ministry at the altar and praying over prayer requests serves both visitors and regular attendees of Northplace Church. 

Security

This team ensures the safety of each person that comes to Northplace for services or a special events.  They also provide protection for special church events off campus.

Usher

This team prepares people for a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting them to a seat, facilitating the offering and maintaining a distraction free environment.

Worship

The Worship Team exists to minister to the Lord through praise & worship, to encourage and lead the congregation into the presence of the Lord, and to facilitate and create an atmosphere where the presence of the Lord can dwell.

Youth

This team builds the next generation through weekly worship experiences, relevant groups, exciting events and impactful retreats.
